On Sunday we had 11 players on the course for a Stableford event, which included 3 juniors.
Jackso Wells took a hit to the handicap, which might prove costly for this coming Sunday’s matchplay final.
He had a great 38 points off a 13 handicap.
For runner up a countback was required. This was between junior George Pfahlert (36) and Andy Croome (16) who both had 35 points.
And as Croomey did the countback he was awarded runner up. 😂
The next best were Jamie Dolny 34, Jack Ritzen 33 and Ashton Leary 31.
Only one nearest the pin was claimed and that went to Zane Howard on the 5th.
The women also played their second round of the Club Championships on Sunday.
But the scores must be a secret at this scribe hasn’t been privy to the results as yet.
Hopefully we will hasn’t an update of the standings soon.
This Sunday the women play their third round of the Club Championships. 8:30 for 9am.
Before the men play a Stableford round at 11:30 for 12pm.
Please start getting your teams in for the AFL Public Holiday Ambrose on Friday September the 25th.
And the Men’s Annual Tournament is on Sunday October the 4th. Which is also our first round of the Men’s Club Championships.

Also this Sunday will see the final of the George King Memorial Matchplay Championships.
This will be contested between Jackson Wells and Dylan Pool.

This is open to all kids of all abilities.
We have a 6, 9 and 18 hole events to play in.

The Beechworth Golf Club is holding our leg of the North Eastern District Golf Association Junior Challenge in this coming School Holidays.
Our event will be on Wednesday September the 23rd.
Just under two weeks!
There are events for kids of all levels.
There are three events.
6 holes for kids aged 8 to 11. (Played on a modified short course)
9 holes 12-14 year olds.
18 holes. Kids aged 14-18.
Kids can play in an older age group if they choose and are capable.
