The Weather is looking great for tomorrow!
The course might be a bit wet under foot, but with most the fairways cut and a couple of nice days leading up. It should be fine.
Tomorrow is a Stroke event for the September Monthly Medal.
11:30 for 12noon hit off.
Don't forget the Indigo Challenge next Sunday!!
We want as many men and women in attendance as possible, to win the trophy.
10:30 for 11am hit off on Sunday October 2nd.
All members are asked to please bring a plate of afternoon tea.
If you are intending on playing please if you can let Dylan know before the day, to assist with the draw.
Also, we require a bit of help on the course in the next week before the Challenge.
If you could assist with mowing, raking the greens or general tidying up of the course it would be greatly appreciated. Rather than leaving it to a select few to upkeep the course, your help would be greatly appreciated.
If you can help in any way, please contact Dylan on 0458562250.
See you all out there!! ... See MoreSee Less

I'll be there
On Tuesday Chiltern held their Women's Bowl.
Beechworth had great day.
Doyna Collins won the C Grade with Jacqui Cato the C Grade runner up
Debbie Tully also won the B Grade
Deb Tully and Jan Lang were winning members of the small teams event.
Beechworth also won two of the three longest Drives with Judy Pierce claiming the C Grade and Deb again cleaned up on the B Grade.
With all these great scores you wonder how we didn't win the Bowl!
Well done to Jubilee who did win the bowl.
Also here is the flyer for the upcoming Indigo Challenge at Beechworth on Sunday October the 2nd.
10:30 for 11am hit off.
Please let Dylan know if you are playing in the Indigo Challenge before the day if you can go assist with the draw. ... See MoreSee Less
A beautiful Spring day today.
It was good to see a good field of players front up for the Monthly Medal and quite a few social golfers out on course as well.
Unfortunately the good weather didn't bring out good golf, as Jamie Dolny won the Monthly Medal with a score of 91/18/73.
There was a three way countback required for the runners up position with Rod Shaw (30) 75, edging out Dave Lang (19) 75 and Zane Howard (22) 75.
No one was good enough to hit their tee shot on the green on any of the par 3's. But Jacob Howard did manage to hit his tee shot on the Par 4 second to two foot and roll in the eagle. To claim the 16 beers in the Eagles nest. Well done Yogi.
Jamie also organised a few prizes for a raffle with a bit of a father's day theme and Dave Lang was the happy winner.
This coming Sunday as has been already said, is Chiltern's Tournament.
9am for a 9:30 start. At this stage we have 4 or 5 players going, but it would be great to see a few more as they are great supporters of out events.
Let Dylan know if you want to play or ring Mick Noonan on the below flyer or turn up by 9am on Sunday.

After a week of great weather, the course is looking great for a game of golf.
With the forecast over the weekend looking even better, it would be great to see a big turn out of golfers on Sunday.
Hit off on Sunday is the usual time of 11:30 for 12 hit off.
If you would like to play in the Sunday comp and can't make the noon hit off time contact Dylan to let him know to put you in the competition.
Of course we would like to see as many as possible play at the same time, we would love to see you play in the comp even if you can't play at that time.
What a great time to start getting back into the swing of things as the days are getting better.
With a few tournaments around the corner including ours, now is the time to get back into it.
This Sunday will be a Stroke event.
Next Sunday is Chiltern's tournament (refer to the flyer to enter, or let Dylan know this weekend).
