Course Maintenance

The Ground’s Committee and Graeme Cordy on the mower have got the course looking its best. The water has receded on many of the damp spots and the fairways are green and running well.
The Committee are looking into the feasibility of irrigating around the greens.
It has been alarming to have so many large gums and limbs falling this year. Most of these have been quickly cleared, but a couple of the giant trunks need major equipment to remove them. This will hopefully be carried out once the ground firms up.
The working bees are on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
8.30 onwards
Consider helping – even if it’s only for one hour.
